Columbia College is a private, four-year liberal arts and sciences institution located in the “heartland” of the United States in Columbia, Missouri. With a total population of more than 120,000, including students, Columbia offers the amenities of a large city while preserving the comforts of a smaller community. Merit scholarships available to international students at Pacific University
Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon offers merit scholarships to all academically well-qualified international undergraduate students. The merit scholarship will be automatically renewed each year for a maximum total of 4 years as long as the student enrolls at the undergraduate level (these scholarships do not apply to ESL students) and maintains at least a 2.0 Grade Point Average (G.P.A). The amount of the scholarship will be determined upon receiving the student’s grades from their most recent full-time enrollment at either a US or non-US educational institution.
Northern kentucky university WElcomes international applicants
Northern Kentucky University is a liberal arts university located 11 kilometers from downtown Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. The university was founded in 1968 and is a four year public university. NKU offers67 bachelor degrees, 18 graduate degrees and an Intensive English program. All classes at the university are taught by full or part-time faculty with a 14:1 student to faculty ratio. Over 15,000 students, 351 of whom are international, attend Northern Kentucky University.
Northern Kentucky University also offers conditional admission to all undergraduate programs and some graduate programs through the Intensive English Program.
NKU offers only competitive, academic scholarships for international students (no need-based). We have an international student scholarship for freshmen ($3,000 for the year, renewable), and several other incoming student scholarships are available through the Financial Assistance Office. The international student scholarship has a rolling deadline and no additional application is required. NKU also has competitive, academic scholarships for continuing international students. International House, New York and the Women’s International Leadership Program Scholarship
International House, a residence and program center in New York, is pleased to announce that applications for the Women’s International Leadership Program Scholarship are now being accepted.
The Women‘s International Leadership (WIL) Program at International House, sponsored by Merrill Lynch, seeks to prepare a select group of women from diverse cultures and disciplines for the challenges they will face as future leaders. The WIL Program is intended to help each grantee gain a clearer vision of her own abilities and learn how to effectively lead others, particularly in cross-cultural environments. Designed as a practical training program to enhance graduate study, the WIL Program devotes special attention to such areas as public speaking, high-performing teams, identifying personal leadership styles, conflict management, and cross-cultural communication. In addition to the personal and professional skills acquired during the 9 month long program each grantee receives a $2,000 scholarship which helps to cover some of the expenses of living at International House.
Google Lime Scholarship for Students with Disabilities
Google is committed to helping the innovators of the future make the most of their talents by providing scholarships and networking retreats for computer science students with disabilities. Recipients of the Google Lime Scholarship will receive a scholarship for the 2009–2010 academic year. Selected students will also be invited to attend the all-expenses-paid retreat at the Googleplex in Mountain View, CA, in 2010. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of candidates’ academic background and demonstrated passion - $10,000USD for those studying in the US (based on average tuition costs).
